About the Role
The Senior Preconstruction Manager will lead the preconstruction team, ensuring accurate estimates, bid strategy execution, and high-quality deliverables. This role is integral to business development and client relationship management, reporting directly to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the preconstruction team across all levels of experience
- Coordinate bidding, estimating, and pre-bid strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and owners
- Ensure take-offs, estimates, and bids are accurate and delivered on time
- Collaborate with operations to ensure project alignment
- Support business development through networking, client engagement, and strategic planning
- Participate in industry events, job walks, and client meetings
- Assist with process improvements and department training
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years in Electrical Construction, with a strong focus on preconstruction and estimating
- 5+ years in leadership roles, leading and mentoring teams
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Experience with preconstruction software (e.g., Accubid, Primavera, LiveCount Cloud, Bluebeam, Navisworks)
- Solid understanding of NEC code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Field experience and exposure to commercial, residential, and industrial construction
Work Environment
- Fully onsite in Denver Metro Area
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000–$170,000 (depending on experience)
