Preconstruction Manager - Top ENR GC - Charlotte

• Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
• Collaborate with internal teams, owners, architects, and subcontractors to develop competitive project strategies.
• Manage and mentor estimating team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, value engineering recommendations, and bid analyses.
• Support business development initiatives and help position projects for successful execution.
• Contribute to the planning and procurement of major commercial construction projects.
• Work across a diverse portfolio including multifamily, healthcare, education, and other commercial developments.
• Partner with project management and field operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions.

• 5 to 10+ years of experience as a Senior Estimator, Lead Estimator, or Preconstruction Manager.
• Proven experience leading teams and collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
• Large-scale commercial construction experience required.
• Experience within healthcare, multifamily, education, or related commercial sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong budgeting, estimating, and cost management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Base salary up to $160K
• Discretionary annual bonus typically ranging up to 20% based on company and project performance.
