SAGE Dining Services is seeking a full-time Prep Cook/Receiver to join our team at a private school in Plano, TX. This dual-role position supports both front-of-house service and back-of-house receiving operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:Experience with high-volume food preparation and storage, including handling large quantities such as up to 240 lbs. of protein daily, 10-20 gallons of sauces, and multiple cases of produce and dry goodsAccurately receive and verify deliveries, ensuring all items meet quality standardsProperly store products following HACCP procedures, including correct labeling, dating, and rotationAbility to quickly assess daily priorities and follow direction from the Sous Chef and Executive ChefStrong multitasking skills, including completing daily prep and planning ahead for upcoming serviceExcellent organization, efficiency, and a strong sense of urgencyFriendly and team-oriented with a positive attitude toward coworkers and the school communityProfessional, respectful, and easy to work withSchedule: Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Occasional evenings and catering events
