Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable, energetic Prep Cook to prepare fresh Greek food, learn our recipes, and keep the kitchen ready for service. Bring a positive attitude and pride in your work—we’ll provide training and opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and menu items following recipes and portion standards.
Use safe knife techniques and kitchen practices.
Monitor stock, anticipate prep needs, and replenish items before they run low.
Plan prep quantities with the team to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
Label, date, rotate, and store food correctly.
Maintain excellent hygiene and a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

Positive attitude, dependability, and a team-first mindset.
Good knife skills preferred.
Ability to learn recipes quickly, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently.
Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and accuracy.
Experience preferred, but not required—we’ll train you!
Valid food-handler certificate preferred; otherwise, complete a accredited course within 30 days of employment.

Compensation: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is a fast-casual restaurant franchise concept featuring authentic Greek recipes, made to order, with only the highest quality ingredients, fresh products, and outstanding hospitality.

The Great Greek was founded by two third-generation restauranteurs with more than 30 years in the food and hospitality business. Like anyone who loves truly good food, their favorite childhood memories were those spent with family and friends, crowded around a table for a meal made with care and love.

That tradition still remains today with the same recipes passed down generation after generation and prepared with the spirit of authentic Mediterranean hospitality where everyone's welcome.
