What You’ll Do
As a Prep / Line Cook at Batbox (non-tipped role), you'll prep ingredients  and prepare delicious food with care, attention, and pride. Here are some of your job duties:


  • Promptly and efficiently fulfill orders according to bill flow, time the steps in each dish, and know the cooking requirements of each dish
  • Stay in the know about our menu - ingredients, preparation, and updates 
  • Deliver legendary dishes by preparing, portioning, and plating meals according to Batbox standards
  • Proactively refill  ingredients, sauces, and supplies throughout your shift
  • Help with inventory counts and receiving deliveries
  • Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure guests are not at risk of allergic reactions.
  • Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed 100% of the time
What We’re Looking For
We’re all about energy, quality, and teamwork, and we’re looking for Prep / Line Cooks who:
  • Have some back-of-house or kitchen experience (a plus, not a must!)
  • Culinary certifications or food safety certifications (e.g., ServSafe) are a plus
  • Can stay calm, focused, and organized during busy shifts
  • Follow recipes and directions with precision and care
  • Have a positive, team-first attitude and take feedback well
  • Are curious, coachable, and interested in growing with us
  •  You are at least 18 years old 
What to Expect
This role is active and hands-on, and you can expect to:

  • Be on your feet for 100% of your shift -  walking, standing, and moving throughout the back-of-house
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
  • Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently.
