Prep Team Member

• Chick-fil-A Odessa is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Team Member to keep our food preparation process organized, efficient, and up to standard. In this role, you will prepare fresh, high-quality ingredients, follow strict food safety and cleanliness guidelines, and assist with tasks that keep our team running smoothly. Your contributions will ensure consistent quality and help deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be required to pay for your first uniform.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation & Organization:

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to Chick-fil-A recipes and standards.
• Follow proper food safety procedures, including correct labeling, dating, and storage of food items.
• Maintain sufficient stock of prepped items to meet business needs without excessive waste.
• Work closely with kitchen leadership to prioritize prep tasks based on business demand.

Operational Support:

• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing deliveries, such as produce deliveries.
• Support the assembly and preparation of catering orders to ensure accuracy, freshness, and timeliness.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.

Food Safety & Cleanliness:

• Keep prep areas, equipment, and utensils clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Uphold Chick-fil-A’s commitment to quality, speed, and accuracy in food preparation.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members.
• Assist in training new hires on prep standards and procedures.
• Maintain a disciplined work pace while paying attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and adaptability.
