We are seeking a Prepress & Production Specialist to prepare customer files for print, support large-format production, and assist with print estimates. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, technically skilled, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepress (Primary Duties)
Preflight and prepare customer files for digital and large-format printing
Review artwork for resolution, bleed, color accuracy, and print readiness
Make necessary file corrections in Adobe Creative Suite to add bleeds and impose files for printing
Set up and rip files for digital presses and wide-format printers
Large-Format & Production Support
Operate large-format printers, cutters, laminators, and related finishing equipment (training provided)
Assist with trimming, mounting, laminating, and finishing signage and graphics
Perform quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent output
Help maintain equipment and production workspaces
Estimating & Workflow Assistance
Assist in preparing print estimates using our MIS/job ticket system
Review materials, production steps, and timelines for incoming jobs
Coordinate with sales and production teams to ensure job accuracy
General Duties
Maintain organized digital files and job records
Support bindery and finishing tasks as needed
Assist with customer service interactions when necessary
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
Preferred:
Familiarity with large-format printing equipment a plus
Required:
Prepress and print production experience
Strong proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Photoshop
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, Monday–Friday
Pay based on experience
