Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, language, and cognitive development
- Observe and document children’s progress
- Maintain positive communication with families
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Follow state licensing and health & safety requirements
- Must be able to use CTELDs guide to plan weekly lesson plans
- Must be able to use CTDOTs to do assessment
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Problem-solving and mediation skills
