Early Learning Center Teacher
River Road Early Learning Center is seeking a warm, dedicated, and enthusiasticTeacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about nurturing young children, fostering developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and building strong partnerships with families.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in an early childhood setting and a strong understanding of child development, curriculum implementation, and positive classroom management. This teacher will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences.
  • Build caring, responsive relationships with children and families.
  • Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment.
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s developmental progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff.
  • Follow all licensing regulations, program policies, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting whole-child development.
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an early childhood classroom.

PreferredQualifications:

  • CDA.
