What You’ll Do
- Create a warm, nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum through hands-on activities, creative play, and meaningful learning experiences.
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Encourage independence, creativity, problem-solving, and positive relationships.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers.
- Communicate with families about their child’s daily experiences, milestones, and progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Work collaboratively with your teaching team and school leadership.
- Follow all school policies, health and safety procedures, and Colorado childcare licensing requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine love for working with preschool-aged children.
- Previous experience in early childhood education or a preschool classroom preferred.
- Colorado Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualifications preferred, or a willingness to work toward meeting applicable qualifications.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- Patience, flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Someone who is creative, energetic, and excited to make learning fun!
- A commitment to providing a safe, loving, and supportive learning environment for all children.
