Job Description
- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and production schedules.
- Select proper tooling and perform machine setups for various part configurations.
- Program and adjust machine controls to meet dimensional requirements.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, protractors, and other inspection equipment.Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and material issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and daily housekeeping activities.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Work closely with supervisors, quality personnel, and other production team members to meet production goals.
- MUST have min of 3 years’ experience with Press Brake
- Experience needs to be recent as well as candidates’ main responsibility
- Ability to program at the machine
- Ability to set up jobs in an efficient manor
- Ability to maintain CNC programs
- Ability to lift 30+lbs without assistance
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be comfortable working in a every changing environment
- Must have ability to read blueprints
- Must have ability to use and understand standard measurement equipment
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
