Press Operator - 1st Shift

Uni-Form Components is looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our manufacturing team as Press Operators. This positions support the setup and operation of industrial presses and furnaces used in our metal forming process.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate industrial presses and furnaces.
• Assist with press setup and preparation.
• Read work orders, specifications, prints, and drawings.
• Stage and move materials needed for production.
• Measure materials and verify specifications throughout the process.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
• Inspect equipment and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE standards.
• Press Operators will also help train and guide Press Helpers.
• Perform other duties as needed to support production.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Press, furnace, metal forming, or heavy manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read measurements, work orders, and basic manufacturing drawings.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
