Press Operator

The Press Operator is responsible for operating machinery, performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and assisting with rework when needed. The role requires adherence to detailed work instructions (DWI), maintaining a clean work environment, and collaborating with supervisors and co-workers to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machines according to Detailed Work Instructions (DWI) and production schedules.
• Inspect and process parts as instructed to maintain quality standards.
• Complete Operator Production Sheet (Form FPR-01) accurately.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
• Assist in reworking and repacking parts under supervisor guidance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including break rooms, restrooms, parking areas, and grounds.
• Honor scheduled break times, including travel time to and from presses.
• Maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and management.
• Assist in giving breaks to other operators as instructed.
• Meet daily production quotas and adhere to all OJT/DWI instructions for all parts.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
