Pressroom Operations Support Technician

Express Employment has partnered with a local manufacturer specializing in medical, pharmaceutical, and animal health packaging distributed to companies around the world.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

A day in the life

At 7:00 AM, you step onto a clean, well-organized pressroom floor. Materials are staged, and your first task is to help prepare the printing and slitting equipment. You check specs, gather cores, and assist with setup so production can start smoothly and meet exacting quality targets.

As the presses run, you stay close: monitoring output, supporting adjustments, and keeping documentation precise and up to date. Between runs, you tidy and sanitize equipment, perform cleaning room duties according to procedure, and keep the surrounding work area spotless. When orders call for it, you package finished goods, move materials to the right locations, and cut material cores so the next job is ready without delay.

Throughout the shift, you follow safety guidelines and quality standards—every label, pouch, or package matters when it’s headed to the medical, pharmaceutical, and animal health markets. By 3:00 PM, machines are cleaned down, paperwork is complete, and the team is set for the next day.

• Accurately complete production paperwork and documentation.
• Keep production equipment and the surrounding area clean and organized.
• Support packaging and material handling tasks as needed.
• Perform cleaning room duties in line with established procedures.
• Cut material cores as required for upcoming jobs.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and quality standards.
