Join the Pretzel Boy's team at our Oakville location, where we specialize in hand-twisted, Philly-style soft pretzels. As a Pretzel Production Associate, you'll play a vital role in our fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that our delicious pretzels are always fresh and ready for our customers. This position offers the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of the pretzel business while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service by taking orders and assisting with inquiries.
• Food Preparation: Prepare dough, twist pretzels, and create pretzel shapes, numbers, and letters for our customers.
• Kitchen Operations: Open the store in the morning, set up for the day, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including all kitchen equipment.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
• Familiarity with food production processes, including culinary skills such as cooking, baking, and knife handling is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.
• A commitment to following safety protocols in food handling and kitchen operations is required.

Schedule
Monday: 8 AM - 1 PM or 3:30 PM
Wednesday: 6:45 AM - 1 PM
Thursday: 6:45 AM - 1 PM
Friday: 6:45 AM - 1 PM or 3:30 PM
Saturday: 6:45 AM - 1 PM or 3:30 PM
Sunday: 7:45 AM - 12 PM or 1 PM
