Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Inspect, diagnose, and proactively address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradation
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent recurring failures
- Maintain and document maintenance activities, PM schedules, and equipment history
- Service equipment including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping equipment
- Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1+ year of industrial or preventive maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance
- Understanding of preventive maintenance strategies (lubrication, inspections, condition monitoring)
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow systematic problem-solving methods
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Familiarity with PLCs or automated production equipment
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration, thermal, etc.)
- Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space
