Pricing Analytics Manager

House-Hasson Hardware is seeking an experienced Pricing Analytics Manager to lead pricing analysis and develop data-driven strategies that improve profitability, protect margins, and maintain market competitiveness. This position evaluates vendor costs, market trends, inventory performance, and pricing structures across customer segments, product categories, and distribution channels.

The Pricing Analytics Manager will use analytical tools to identify pricing opportunities, maintain pricing integrity, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. This role works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to support pricing decisions, vendor negotiations, and the company's financial and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend pricing strategies that improve profitability, competitiveness, and inventory efficiency.
• Analyze product costs, vendor pricing, freight, warehousing, and other distribution expenses.
• Evaluate vendor cost changes, rebates, incentives, discounts, and purchasing trends to identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Oversee competitive pricing analysis using Skuudle and other market intelligence tools.
• Manage pricing structures across customer segments, product categories, and distribution channels, including warehouse and drop-ship sales.
• Monitor Minimum Advertised Price Policy requirements and support compliance with vendor pricing agreements.
• Analyze inventory turnover, product performance, and SKU-level profitability.
• Lead margin and profitability analysis by product, vendor, region, customer segment, and distribution channel.
• Identify margin erosion, pricing discrepancies, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Oversee pricing accuracy, data integrity, and pricing processes across ERP and related systems.
• Develop pricing reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to evaluate the impact of pricing decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to support business objectives.
• Provide pricing recommendations, financial insights, and strategic analysis to senior leadership.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for pricing processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, purchasing, or a related analytical role.
• Experience developing pricing strategies and analyzing margins, profitability, product costs, and SKU-level performance.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and forecasting.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems; AS400 experience is preferred.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, manufacturing, or a multi-channel distribution environment is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, Skuudle, MAPP pricing, or competitive pricing intelligence platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and present findings to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead pricing initiatives, and improve processes.
