Pricing Strategy & Performance Improvement Consultant

IDR is seeking a Pricing Strategy & Performance Improvement Consultant to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting a commercial project related to pricing strategy, performance improvement, and commercial transformation. The position focuses on evaluating pricing models, identifying revenue opportunities, developing strategic recommendations, and partnering with senior executives.

Please note, this is initially a 6 to 8 week engagement but has the potential to extend further. 

Position Overview for the Pricing Strategy & Performance Improvement Consultant:

• Support and lead pricing strategy, pricing performance improvement, and commercial transformation engagements.
• Evaluate existing pricing models, commercial performance, customer/market data, and revenue opportunities.
• Identify actionable opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, and optimize overall pricing performance.
• Develop strategic recommendations and translate findings into practical, executable solutions.
• Support implementation of pricing, sales, and commercial improvement initiatives.
• Conduct quantitative analysis, financial modeling, market research, and pricing analytics.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, analytics, and development of client deliverables while independently validating outputs for accuracy.
• Partner directly with CEOs, C-suite executives, and senior client stakeholders.

Requirements for the Pricing Strategy & Performance Improvement Consultant:

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in pricing strategy, commercial strategy, management consulting, or related areas.
• Strong background in pricing strategy and/or hands-on pricing implementation.
• Prior experience with top-tier strategy firms or recognized pricing consulting organizations is strongly preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including analyzing complex data, spreadsheets, financial information, and pricing models.
• Comfortable using modern AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining strong independent analytical judgment.
