Pricing Systems Analyst 1

As a Pricing Systems Analyst at Maverik, you’ll play an important role in bringing our loyalty promotions and points programs to life. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Pricing Optimization, and our loyalty system provider to coordinate promotion schedules, validate system setups, and ensure promotions launch accurately and on time. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys collaborating across teams, solving problems, and finding ways to make processes more efficient. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of loyalty promotion execution while helping improve the systems and processes that support our stores and guests.

This role helps ensure Maverik’s loyalty promotions and points programs are accurate, reliable, and ready for our guests and stores when they launch. By partnering across Marketing, Pricing Optimization, and our loyalty system provider, this position helps deliver a smooth promotional experience while identifying opportunities to improve processes and prevent errors.

Location/Schedule 

This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters and follows a hybrid schedule with four days in-office and one remote day each week. 

What You’ll do in this Role  

• Coordinate daily with the loyalty system team on promotion builds, open items, and system requests.
• Partner with the Pricing Optimization and Marketing teams to manage the loyalty promotion calendar and intake of promotion requests.
• Provide support to stores by resolving loyalty and promotion-related issues and responding to inquiries.
• Validate offer and points configurations in loyalty systems such as Paytronix prior to launch and confirm accuracy after promotions go live.
• Manage tickets for promotion and customer loyalty issues through resolution, escalating to the loyalty system provider as needed.
• Assist in establishing and improving processes to enhance loyalty promotion efficiency and accuracy.
• Run loyalty promotion analytics and reporting as required.

You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: 

• 1+ years of experience in loyalty programs, promotions, marketing operations, retail, or price book.
• Experience coordinating projects or vendor partners across multiple teams.

Bonus points if you also bring:  

• No degree required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Coursework or a degree in fields such as Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or Information Systems is a plus. 
• Experience using loyalty or promotion systems such as Paytronix, or similar retail systems such as ERP, POS, or PDI, is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits 

Pay Range:$55,000-$65,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities 

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
