Loyal Source Government Services is looking for a full-time locum Primary Care Physician for the Lyle C. Pearson VA CBOC in Mankato, MN.

Job Summary: The Primary Care Physician at the Lyle C. Pearson VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mankato, MN will be providing comprehensive primary care services, manage a patient panel, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with VA standards. The Primary Care Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while coordinating care to support the overall health and well-being for our nation's veterans.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Onsite)

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult veteran patients.
• Conduct annual wellness examinations and chronic disease management.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with VA policies, documentation requirements, HIPAA, and privacy regulations.
• Ability to accurately document patient encounters within required VA timeframes and have proficiency with Electronic Health Records.

Qualifications:

• Degree/Education: MD or DO medical degree
• Active, current, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia
• Current DEA Registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA Preferred)
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
