Willimantic (also referred to as Windham) offers physicians the opportunity to practice in a vibrant, close-knit community rich in New England charm and cultural diversity. Located in northeastern Connecticut, the area provides easy access to Hartford, Providence, and Boston while maintaining a relaxed lifestyle with affordable housing, excellent schools, outdoor recreation, and a thriving arts and dining scene. Home to Eastern Connecticut State University and surrounded by scenic parks and trails, Willimantic combines the rewards of community-based medicine with an exceptional quality of life for physicians and their families.

Primary Care Position Details:

• Role: Primary Care Physician (18+)

• Location: Windham, CT

• Setting: 100%, office-based, outpatient Primary Care

• Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only

• Teaching: Optional with faculty appointment

• Phone Call Only: averages only 2 call weekends per year and 1-weeknight ~ 2 months

• Offerings: Guaranteed base, Uncapped incentive bonus, Loan repayment support, Sign-on, Residency Stipend, Relocation

• Work authorization: H1B cap-exempt organization, J-1 waiver eligible 2028
