(Boston, MA) Principal Associate Scientist sought by Ascidian Therapeutics, Inc. todesign, validate, execute, and interpret experiments to improve therapeutic performanceof designer RNA editing molecules & contribute to characterization of drug candidates tosupport Ascidian’s Roche Collaboration. Req.’s Master’s Deg. in Molecular/CellularBio., Bio. Chem. or rel. field & 3 yrs rel. exp. or Bach’s Deg. & 5 yrs rel. exp. Must haveexperience in RNA therapeutics with a focus on pre-mRNA splicing and proteintranslation; designing and cloning RNA exon-editing molecules and designing assays tomeasure RNA editing; optimization and preparation of custom Illumina libraries;bioinformatic analysis of the libraries; cell culture, ddPCR, qPCR and protein extractionand characterization by JESS and western blot, Sanger sequence analysis; use ofsequence design and analysis software. No calls.Salary: $ 112,017 to $118,400 per year.
