Principal Data Architect Seeking a Principal Data Architect to lead data architecture across Microsoft Dynamics 365, enterprise applications, and Azure data platforms. This role will focus on data modeling, integration, governance, and analytics enablement across ERP, CRM, MES, and PLM systems. Responsibilities
Define enterprise data architecture across D365, ERP, CRM, MES, and PLM
Design data models and integration patterns using APIs, Dataverse, ETL/ELT, and event-driven architecture
Align operational systems with Azure data warehouse/lakehouse platforms
Support data quality, governance, MDM, lineage, analytics, and AI initiatives
Reduce data silos and point-to-point integrations
Partner with engineering, application, and business teams
Requirements
10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture
Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP/CRM experience
Experience with D365 integrations and data models
Strong Azure experience: Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Data Lake
Experience with Dataverse, APIs, middleware, and data modeling
Strong understanding of data governance and data quality
Preferred
MES / PLM integration experience
Dual-write, BYOD, CDM
Azure Event Grid / Service Bus
Power BI / Fabric
Manufacturing or supply-chain experience
