Description
Join our team as a Principal Data Engineer in a hybrid role based in Madison, WI.
This full-time position involves leading cross-domain data initiatives and developing enterprise data engineering capabilities.
You'll work with a variety of data processing and cloud technologies to drive technical outcomes and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical outcomes for cross-domain initiatives from concept to production.
Translate enterprise needs into executable technical plans.
Coordinate technical execution and identify architectural risks.
Define and evolve data engineering standards and architectures.
Mentor engineers and communicate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Expert-level experience in software development and data engineering.
Proficiency in data pipeline development and data modeling solutions.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and data storage solutions.
Ability to lead and communicate complex technical decisions effectively.
