    Role Summary

We are seeking a Digital Design Engineer to support the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and circuit card assemblies for advanced missile systems.

This role is focused on full lifecycle digital hardware development, including requirements analysis, architecture definition, schematic capture, circuit card design support, lab checkout, and hardware integration. The engineer will work in a collaborative, on-site team environment supporting complex electronic assemblies used in high-reliability defense applications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and circuit card assemblies.
    • Support development of hardware designs involving processors, FPGAs, memory, and digital interface technologies.
    • Create, analyze, and manage hardware requirements for digital circuit card designs.
    • Perform parts selection, trade studies, and component-level design evaluations.
    • Develop hardware architecture concepts, block diagrams, and design documentation.
    • Support schematic capture and coordinate with layout teams through the physical PCB layout process.
    • Contribute to multi-layer circuit card assembly design, review, and development activities.
    • Perform lab checkout, debug, and integration of hardware using test plans and engineering lab equipment.
    • Support signal integrity, power integrity, and layout-related design analysis.
    • Work cross-functionally with engineering teams to resolve design, integration, and test issues.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics circuit design and development.
    • Experience with digital hardware design for complex electronic systems or multi-assembly units.
    • Experience developing and supporting complex, multi-layer circuit card assemblies.
    • Strong understanding of circuit card design principles, including schematic development and layout coordination.
    • Experience with digital designs involving processors, FPGAs, memory devices, and embedded interfaces.
    • Proficiency with electronic design and simulation tools used for schematic creation, PCB layout support, and signal/power integrity analysis.
    • Hands-on experience with hardware checkout, integration, debug, and test execution in a lab environment.
