Job Summary:
Engineering Lead with solid focus on API Architecture (including all the responsibilities below) and strong communication. He/she must speak with the business users, manage requirements and also the board. This position is to be based in the Dallas area.
Mandatory:
Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end REST API development using C# and the latest .NET versions (.NET 7/8/10)
"Mandatory: Experience developing APIs that integrate with internal systems as well as external/third-party APIs
"Mandatory: Hands-on experience building Azure Functions with multiple triggers (HTTP, Timer, Service Bus, Event Grid, etc.)
"Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency APIs capable of handling millions of transactions
"Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD / Entra ID
"Apply API integration and resiliency patterns, including timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, and idempotency
"Develop APIs using Azure App Services and other Azure platform services
"Implement structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing using Application Insights and Azure Monitor
"Work with Azure Cosmos DB and other scalable data stores
"Ensure secure and reliable deployments through CI/CD pipelines and automation
"Good to have: Experience with Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads
