The Principal Paralegal serves as the Legal Operations Lead for the department. This role is dedicated to system management, workflow optimization, tracking legal assets, contract intake triage, document retention, and financial administration of outside legal spend. The Principal Paralegal ensures that both attorneys and compliance leaders have structured, audited systems to execute their duties seamlessly.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
While living and demonstrating our Core Values, the Principal Paralegal will:
System Administration (Compliatric): Serve as the super-user and primary system administrator for the Enterprise contract and compliance management software (Compliatric), ensuring 100% database accuracy and data integrity.
Triage & Workflow Coordination: Manage incoming legal and contract requests, triage assignments to the Associate Attorney or In-House Counsel, and track deliverables against established SLAs.
Contract Expiration & Renewal Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all active clinical affiliations, vendor contracts, leases, and agreements, generating proactive 60/90-day renewal/termination alerts for leadership.
Outside Counsel Spend & Invoice Auditing: Audit outside legal counsel and consultant invoices against engagement letters and fee schedules prior to SVP approval, tracking overall department legal spend.
Document Retention & Compliance Governance: Maintain official legal repositories, execute document retention/destruction schedules per Enterprise policy, and log corporate licensing and accreditation filings.
Investigative & Audit Administrative Support: Organize evidence files, coordinate interview scheduling, and compile investigative binders for the Director of Corporate Integrity during formal audits or internal investigations

Requirements
Meet The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated entity The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education EOS People Analyzer Tool
Buy in and experience working in the EOS model (strongly preferred)
Mission-oriented; represents the enterprise in a professional manner while demonstrating organizational pride
Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or a related field, or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate (or equivalent career experience).
5-7+ years of dedicated paralegal or legal operations experience, preferably in healthcare, corporate, or non-profit settings.
Strong relationship-building skills with all departments and employees, executives, volunteer Directors and community leaders
Demonstrated mastery of contract lifecycle management systems and workflows.
Exceptional organizational, tracking, and detail-oriented skills.
Strong drafting abilities for routine legal documents and correspondence.
Outstanding communication, collaboration and leadership skills; the ability to inspire and inform
Is an outstanding ambassador for the Enterprise in the community and demonstrates organizational pride
