As a member of our enterprise mainframe infrastructure team, you will drive the installation, configuration, and operational support of critical zSystem print software, report management tools, and print vendor integrations. In this role, you will lead key initiatives such as corporate compliance updates for print servers, Tivoli Output Manager deployments, and print environment rationalization. You will work with industry-standard mainframe print tools (LRS/VPS suite, TOM) and leverage modern AI productivity tools to streamline workflows, analyze system data, and support 24x7x365 operational excellence across our enterprise platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and configure LRS print software on the zSystem platform, including print control options, print interface options, and user interface options (VPS, DRS, VSV)
• Install and configure print fonts on Windows print servers utilized by print vendors (e.g., Shutterfly)
• Respond to and resolve ServiceNow requests and incidents, including adding printers, adding fonts, and managing user access to Tivoli Output Manager (TOM)
• Support key project initiatives including Windows print server corporate compliance updates, Tivoli Output Manager deployment support, and decommissioning unused printers
• Provide 24x7x365 operational support for zSystem mainframe print infrastructure and online report viewing software
• Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement
• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation within systems programming

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IBM z/OS mainframe experience OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of IBM z/OS mainframe experience
• 10+ years of IBM z/OS mainframe experience with demonstrated proficiency using TSO/ISPF
• Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and maintaining the LRS/VPS suite of print products (including VPS, DRS, and VSV)
• Experience with IBM Tivoli Output Manager (TOM), including report implementation, configuration, and access management
• Experience understanding print font formats and updating print font files on Windows print servers
• Proven experience managing IT service requests and incidents using ServiceNow or a similar enterprise ticketing system
• Ability to provide 24x7x365 operational support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Experience with American Printware software on the zSystem platform
• Ability to leverage enterprise AI tools (such as Microsoft 365 Copilot) to analyze data, summarize meetings, draft communications, and recommend operational solutions
• Commitment to staying educated on emerging AI capabilities relevant to LinuxOne and zSystem programming

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
