About the Role:
Precious Thoughts Custom Printing in St. Louis, MO is looking for a creative and customer-focused Print Shop Consultant / Graphic Designer to join their team! In this dynamic dual role, you'll bring customers' visions to life through thoughtful design and expert print consultation. Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers to understand their custom printing needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Create and edit graphic designs for a variety of print products including apparel, signage, banners, and promotional materials
• Prepare print-ready files and ensure artwork meets production specifications
• Operate and manage print shop software and design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Review proofs and coordinate with production staff to ensure quality and accuracy
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Provide quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate customer records

Requirements:

• Experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of print or marketing materials
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar design software
• Knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and color management
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a consultative approach
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, layout, and design aesthetics
• Prior experience in a print shop, sign shop, or similar environment is a plus but not required
