Printer Deployment Technician

Overview

Our Client  a leading healthcare provider dedicated to improving health and inspiring hope in its communities.We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Printer Deployment Technician to support the installation, deployment, relocation, and maintenance of printers and multifunction devices at client sites for a 6 month engagement.  The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and customer service skills, be comfortable working in various environments, and be capable of transporting and setting up equipment while adhering to project timelines and client expectations.   ** As part of our hiring process, candidates will be sent an email to complete a brief online assessment via our screening partner, Eximius. **

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, configure, and test printers, copiers, and multifunction devices.
• Unbox, assemble, and prepare equipment for deployment.
• Disconnect, relocate, and reconnect printers and related hardware as required.
• Perform basic network connectivity and printer configuration tasks, including TCP/IP setup.
• Verify proper functionality and print quality after installation.
• Document installations, asset information, and deployment activities accurately.
• Coordinate with project managers, site contacts, and end users to schedule deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and connectivity issues.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service while onsite.

Adhere to all company safety guidelines and client site requirements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience deploying, installing, or supporting printers, copiers, computers, or other IT hardware preferred.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and printer configurations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency using mobile devices, tablets, or laptops for documentation and reporting.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely transport equipment to and from deployment locations.

Transportation Requirements

• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel to multiple client locations throughout the assigned territory.
• Must maintain a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HP, Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, Lexmark, or similar printer platforms.
• Experience with large-scale hardware deployment or refresh projects.
• Familiarity with asset management and inventory tracking systems.

Work Environment

• Client-site based work with frequent travel between locations.
• May require occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work based on deployment schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

•  $25 hourly
