Reproduction / Bindery Equipment Operator

Pay: $20–$22/hr
Assignment: 10+ months
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm- may be adjusted for business needs

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Reproduction/Bindery Equipment Operator to operate digital printing, copying, and finishing equipment in a fast-paced print production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate high-speed digital copiers and printing equipment.
• Receive, review, scan, and process digital and hard-copy print files.
• Perform basic file adjustments, including cropping, rotation, page placement, and collation.
• Operate bindery/finishing equipment including cutters, folders, collators, stitchers, laminators, spiral binders, and shrink wrappers.
• Inspect and proof completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Prioritize print jobs to meet production deadlines.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and maintain production records.
• Prepare completed materials for shipment/delivery and maintain supply inventory.
• Protect confidential documents and information.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of commercial or in-plant printing/copier/finishing experience required.
• Knowledge of digital copiers, printing processes, and computers.
• Prepress/post-press experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, including reading rulers and converting measurements to decimals.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for most of the shift.
