RESPONSIBILITIES 

Key Responsibilities

• Job Setup & Preparation: Read and interpret job orders, layouts, and specifications to determine press setup requirements, including plates, inks, substrates (paper, cardstock, vinyl, etc.), and cutting/folding attachments. 
• Press Operation: Load raw materials, mix and adjust inks, feed stocks through cylinders, and manage ink distribution, speed, and temperature settings. 
• Quality Control: Continuously monitor output throughout the run. Pull sample sheets to check for color consistency, alignment/registration, smudges, or mechanical imperfections. 
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, clean press components, lubricate moving parts, and clear paper jams safely. Diagnose minor mechanical or software issues and make quick adjustments to minimize waste. 
• Record Keeping & Safety: Maintain accurate production records, tracking materials used, time spent, and output counts. Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment. 

QUALIFICATIONS

 Insert text her·  Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or graphic arts training is a plus. 

·  Experience: 1–3+ years of hands-on experience operating commercial printing presses (e.g., offset, digital, flexographic, or screen printing). 

·  Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and tearing down printing and finishing equipment. 
• Solid understanding of color theory, color matching, and chemical/ink balances. 
• Basic computer literacy for handling digital files, prepress setups, or control panels. 

·  Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, time management, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

·  Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift heavy objects
