Private Event Manager

We're looking for an organized, personable, and sales-driven Private Events & Sales Manager to lead and grow our private dining and events program at Ramie in Seattle. If you thrive on building client relationships, managing details, and creating memorable experiences, this role is for you.

About the Role

• Manage the complete private event lifecycle from initial client inquiries and proposals through post-event follow-up
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, wedding parties, and event planners to drive bookings and repeat business
• Coordinate all aspects of private events including menu planning, logistics, staffing, and timeline management
• Work closely with our kitchen, service, and management teams to ensure flawless event execution
• Develop creative packages and pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining our service standards
• Handle event inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Maintain detailed event records and follow up on leads to convert prospects into confirmed bookings

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in event planning, private dining sales, or hospitality management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Sales mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and close business
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends during events
• Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office (or willingness to learn our systems)
