We are partnering with a highly respected Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) seeking an experienced Private Wealth Advisor to step into an established book of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships.This role is ideal for a relationship-driven advisor who thrives in a planning-first, team-based environment . You will be supported by a dedicated financial planning and investment team, allowing you to focus on delivering comprehensive advice, deepening client relationships, and driving long-term outcomes.Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for an established book of UHNW clients, delivering a high-touch, white-glove client experienceTake full ownership of client relationships, including:Preparing meeting agendasManaging ongoing client communicationEnsuring follow-through on all action itemsConduct comprehensive financial planning reviews , including retirement, estate, tax, and multi-generational planning strategiesPartner with internal financial planning and investment teams to analyze complex financial data and deliver tailored recommendationsImplement and oversee investment strategies and financial plans aligned with client goalsCollaborate with business development on prospective client meetings , including presenting the firm's value proposition and helping convert opportunities (no self-sourcing required)Participate in weekly wealth management meetings and bi-weekly departmental strategy sessionsProvide thoughtful, empathetic guidance—recognizing the emotional and behavioral aspects of financial decision-makingQualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field requiredAdvanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, MS Finance, CPA, CAIA, etc.)Series 65 license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment)Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial services, with direct exposure to UHNW clientsDemonstrated experience in: Advanced financial planning, Tax-aware strategies and Estate and legacy planningStrong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build trust and navigate complex client conversationsSolid knowledge of capital markets and investment strategies , with the ability to translate insights into client-facing recommendationsExperience working with custodial platforms such as Charles Schwab or Fidelity InvestmentsStrong technical acumen with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar)Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team-based advisory modelWhat Sets This Opportunity Apart Established book of business —step into existing client relationshipsNo requirement to self-source clients ; supported by dedicated business development effortsRobust internal infrastructure, including financial planning and investment support teamsOpportunity to work with sophisticated UHNW clients on complex planning needsTeam-oriented culture focused on delivering a best-in-class client experienceEmployer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance (individual coverage)Competitive compensation structure aligned with experience and productionLong-term growth and leadership opportunities within the firmAbout Madison Professional Group Madison Professional Group (MPG) is a third-party recruiting firm specializing in connecting financial professionals with leading firms across the wealth management industry.We are an equal opportunity employer.
