Summary

The Menninger Clinic is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to support our Psychiatry Service team. This role provides coverage for planned provider absences, including vacations and FMLA leave, ensuring continuity of care. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing assigned patients during coverage periods, coordinating care transitions, monitoring utilization, and communicating with patients, families, teams, and external agencies. Care is delivered independently and within an interdisciplinary team, with opportunities to collaborate alongside trainees across multiple disciplines.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completion of an accredited residency in General Psychiatry. Board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) is required. Must hold a current, unrestricted Texas medical license, DEA registration, and CPR certification. Minimum of five years'' experience practicing within an interdisciplinary treatment team setting.
