PRN X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST Position Summary: Responsible for assisting physician in patient care, performing all necessary x-rays, with a high degree of quality, escort patients to rooms, and maintain x-ray records. Will operate the C-ARM for spinal injection procedures. Position works at our Chardon location with Saturday Hours Required Position Responsibilities/Standards: General - Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns

- Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Identifies potentially unsafe situations and notifies supervisor
Specific Duties - Prepare patients for x-ray
- Perform x-rays as required by physicians
- Perform C-ARM procedure
- Document procedure performed
- Communication with physicians, patients and staff
- Ensure equipment is maintained properly
- Answer patient questions
- Help turn over rooms (mopping floors, taking out garbage, wiping down equipment)
- Other duties delegated by provider, management, and RN
Education/Experience Required: - Must be AART and/or Ohio Radiography license.
Physical Requirements: Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.
