POSITION OVERVIEW
As a
Procedural Specialist, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Promote BDI Surgery Advanced Reconstruction & Repair (AR&R) products through clinical support and education.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and clinical staff on AR&R products through case support and in-servicing.
- Coordinate with field sales teams on customer training, technical support, case logistics, timing, and execution.
- Establish and maintain relationships with surgeons, PAs, surgery coordinators, OR managers, nurses, scrub technicians, hospitals, and physicians.
- Identify new users and applications for company products and services.
- Monitor and report market trends that may affect AR&R sales, service, and product development.
- Maintain relationships with Regional Managers, Territory Managers, ATMs, and customers.
- Process customer complaints and returns according to established procedures.
- Complete procedural specialist reports, expense reports, product tracking reports, complaint reports, and other required documentation.
- Support vacant territory responsibilities and AR&R procedures as directed by Regional Management.
- Travel extensively throughout the assigned region to provide clinical and technical support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate
Procedural Specialist who enjoys your work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Procedural Specialist would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly preferred, or 6 years of equivalent relevant experience with a High School Diploma.
- 3 5 years of Operating Room or procedural-area experience.
- Strong surgical and procedural knowledge.
- Knowledge of medical and surgical terminology and basic anatomy.
- Current credentialing and/or certification in the applicable clinical discipline.
- Experience with general or plastic surgeons preferred.
- Experience in the hernia space preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, Salesforce (SFDC), and Showpad.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel 60 80%, including multiple overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to meet and maintain customer and medical-facility access requirements and vendor credentialing.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and other schedules as required.
- Must live near a major U.S. airport that serves as a hub.
