Process Cleaner
Cleaning of parts manually or machine-assisted throughout the repair and overhaul cycle of Aircraft engine and related accessories. The role is internally defined as Process Cleaner in the organization.
Tasks
Performs manual or machine-assisted cleaning of parts throughout the repair and overhaul cycle.
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
Engine Cleaning
Parts Washing
Plastic beading
Flushing
Vibratory cleaning
Chemical stripping
Dry/wet abrasive grit blasting
Performs concentration checks on tank solutions
Performs shop practice audits to ensure cleaning line is audit compliant, clean and organized.
Replenishment of Consumables & Chemicals
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Candidate must possess a Grade 12 education with Chemistry as one of the subject
Experience of working with chemicals and exposure to personal protective equipment at work will be asset
Demonstrated manual dexterity and able to interpret technical instructions
Able to perform work on computer systems
Able to liaise with other Company personnel in a positive manner and work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Must be able to do shift work (6AM - 2PM & 2 PM - 10 PM).
Must be able to work overtime as required
