Job Title: Process Development Engineer Assembly & Packaging

Employment Type: W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $45-50/hr
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Shift: Second Shift

Job Summary:
Seeking a Characterization Consultant to support assembly and packaging equipment characterization, troubleshooting, and readiness for manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute characterization protocols and prepare technical reports.

  • Challenge equipment functionality and performance against User Requirement Specifications (URS).

  • Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE), engineering runs, parameter mapping, and sampling studies.

  • Analyze study data, investigate equipment failures, and perform root cause analysis.

  • Support commissioning, qualification, startup, and resolution of equipment deficiencies.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on equipment and process characterization experience.
  • Experience with assembly or packaging equipment and NPI activities.
  • Strong knowledge of URS, protocol development, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience using DOE and statistical analysis tools for equipment performance evaluation.

Preferred: Pharmaceutical/GMP background and commissioning or equipment qualification experience.
