Job Responsibilities

  • Sets up, operates, and monitors production equipment and processes to maximize productivity.
  • Performs audits and ensures adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Performs root cause analysis and troubleshooting on equipment and processes.
  • Adjusts machine settings and process parameters as needed.
  • Records production data and maintains accurate logs.
  • Collaborates with team members to optimize production efficiency.
  • Identifies and reports any issues or deviations in the production process.
  • Assists in implementing process improvements and new technologies and machinery.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of assigned production processes and equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Some prior experience or training in fabrication preferred but not required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
  • Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
  • Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
  • May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
