We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician with a local manufacturing company!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1–3 years of related manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience with extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding equipment preferred.
- Forklift certification and training required.
- Ability to read and follow instructions and maintain accurate production records.
- Basic math skills, including working with measurements, decimals, fractions, and quality control data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate production machinery to manufacture rigid plastic containers.
- Start and stop machines and assist with material changes and equipment changeovers.
- Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic adjustments.
- Inspect products using visual checks and quality testing equipment.
- Pack finished products into cartons and stack cartons for shipment.
- Operate forklifts to move materials safely.
- Monitor production and identify defective or out-of-spec products.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all GMP, SQF, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report equipment, production, and quality issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving machinery.
- Work areas may be loud and involve vibration, humidity, and varying temperatures.
- Requires standing, bending, reaching, climbing, and handling materials.
- Must follow safety procedures when operating machinery and lift equipment.
HOURS:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
PAY:
- $20.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications
