Processing Specialist - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Processing Specialist - Onsite for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Tacoma, WA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, W2

Position Overview:
Under direct supervision, this position is focused on executing basic processing and routine operational and/or administrative work following defined procedures. The role supports various banking operations, including mail processing, data entry, and document handling within areas like credit cards, retail banking, and consumer lending.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer defined procedures, analyses, tasks, and report preparation for filing, recording, processing, and servicing of documentation
• Assist in reviewing or ensuring proper documentation or procedures are used for basic activities
• Perform basic routine tasks as assigned by the manager
• Provide service in relation to routine billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints from customers
• Open mail and extract paper invoices/checks
• Properly sort non-payment documents for processing
• Accurately batch work and communicate issues to the Workflow Coordinator or Supervisor
• Cross-train in other functional areas as required, such as mail sort, keying, reassociation, and data entry

Primary Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• 0-1 years of experience with working knowledge of the business or general office skills
• Works well with others in a fully developed team environment
• Open-minded and adaptable to new ideas in a changing environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient in 10-Key, able to perform with a high degree of speed and accuracy
• Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately and meet production goals
• Proven effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications
• Basic knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and government regulations
• Excellent customer service skills

• College degree
