Procurement Analyst (Strategic Procurement)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree. Three years of experience in a large centralized purchasing operation to include experience in the preparation of technical specifications, bids, and contract documentation are required. Additional experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

This is a professional position within the Strategic Procurement Department (SPD) responsible for conducting comprehensive assessment of procurement practices, procedures, policies and positions, analyzing workload and performance data, identifying gaps and opportunities, and offering recommendations to improve the efficiency, consistency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment of countywide procurement operations.
