If youre energized by fast-moving projects, love bringing order to complexity, and get real satisfaction from seeing a job run smoothly from start to finish—this role was made for you. Were looking for a detail-driven Procurement Specialist who can support project mobilization, keep momentum strong, and help ensure every phase of the procurement lifecycle is completed on time and with precision.

Youll play a key role across the full project journey—bidding, pricing, proposals, material ordering, and close-out documentation—working alongside a collaborative team in a culture built on growth, cooperation, and continuous improvement.

    What youll do

    • Review project scope using plans, drawings, and specifications to fully understand requirements
    • Build and manage the Pricing Log using finish schedules and estimator take-offs
    • Request vendor pricing, compile responses, and publish logs for easy team access
    • Create a BidCalc (Budget) using available tools, including takeoffs, pricing logs, labor sheets, plans, specs, and schedules
    • Confirm licensing requirements and accurate tax rates for the project city
    • Estimate freight costs using historical data, job location, and site conditions
    • Develop proposals that clearly communicate project details (plan dates, scope, product lists, installation methods)
    • Communicate with GCs and design firms post-submission to provide alternates, clarifications, and scope support
    • Attend project-related meetings to gather and share key preliminary information
    • Review shop drawings and provide insights to internal teams as needed
    • Order vendor samples for customers/GCs upon request
    • Create, update, and manage the PO Log throughout buyout
    • Issue approved POs and release materials in coordination with Operations
    • Update PO Log to reflect released materials and communicate delays/changes quickly to the appropriate stakeholders
    • Generate RCOs and align changes with BidCalc as needed
    • Perform Club Walks to validate quantity, quality, and specs of delivered club materials with Operations
    • Partner with Project Managers and General Superintendents to resolve issues quickly and provide technical guidance
    • Spot-audit project costs to support accuracy and accountability
    • Prepare close-out documentation and assist teams in collecting outstanding job-related information

    What you bring

    • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a team setting
    • Analytical mindset: self-motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful, and highly organized
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and resolve inquiries in the right order—without dropping the ball
    • Excellent judgment handling confidential information with care and integrity
    • Strong work ethic with a commitment to personal and organizational success
    • Professionalism, strong business ethics, and a high standard of accountability
    • Confidence in decision-making, negotiation, and working with numbers
    • Experience collecting and analyzing data
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe
    • Bachelors degree preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

    Why this role is exciting

You wont be stuck doing the same task every day—youll be at the center of the action, influencing outcomes across multiple projects and working with a team that values growth, ownership, and doing things the right way. If youre ready to level up your procurement career in multifamily construction and make a real impact, wed love to hear from you.
