This role is crucial for managing procurement processes, focusing on strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, risk management, and vendor performance. The position requires a blend of commercial strategy and risk management, ensuring that vendor decisions align with pricing, security, and regulatory standards.
Key Skills & Requirements:
5+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing with a history of closing deals.
Strong negotiation skills for strategic, financial, and business terms
Understanding of contract structures and commercial mechanics.
Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis and cost modeling.
Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with technology, information security, and SaaS procurement is a plus.
Experience with third-party risk management and financial services regulations is desirable.
Hands-on experience with procurement and contract management tools is advantageous.
Preferred college degree in business or accounting.
