Description
Procurement Manager - Fuel Services provides enterprise-level sourcing leadership for a complex, high-value fuel-service category. This role owns multi-year category and supplier strategies, leads high-impact negotiations and transformation initiatives, and delivers sustained improvements in total cost of ownership, safety, quality, compliance, operational resilience, technology, and service performance. The senior manager serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, represents United in fuel-governing bodies and industry forums where appropriate, and provides functional leadership, coaching, and direction to fuel professionals.

Experience with strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier relationship management
Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies and procurement best practices
Experience leading fuel facility or fuel pipeline operations and maintenance
Professional certification related to procurement, supply chain, or finance (e.g., CPSM)
Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them for research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving.
Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to company policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.
The base pay range for this role is $102,220.00 to $133,194.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
