Materials & Logistics Coordinator
Position
Summary
A growing, international
building products distributor is seeking a hands-on Procurement, Materials
& Logistics Coordinator to manage the complete procurement cycle.
Serving as a key operational link between suppliers, warehouses, carriers, and
finance, this role ensures optimal material availability, cost control, and
supply chain visibility using SAP.
Key
Responsibilities
Procurement & SAP Operations: Create and track
purchase orders, manage goods receipts/invoice validations, and perform
GR/IR reconciliations in SAP.
Inventory & Planning: Monitor stock
levels, track lead times, anticipate replenishment needs, and mitigate
shortages.
Logistics & Supplier Management: Coordinate 3PLs,
carriers, and warehouses. Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate
pricing, lead times, and freight terms.
Financial & Process Control: Analyze logistics
and purchasing costs to identify savings while supporting process
improvements.
Key
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience in procurement,
materials management, inventory, or logistics.
Industry Background: Manufacturing, industrial/building products,
construction materials, or product distribution strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Practical, hands-on experience using SAP MM (PO creation, inventory management, GR/IR).
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating
in a fast-paced, direct, and results-focused culture.
Location & Work Authorization: Must be able to work
100% on-site in Savannah, GA. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Compensation
& Benefits
Base Salary: $65,000 – $70,000
