Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as the primary acquisition execution workforce supporting pre-award, post-award, contract administration, procurement documentation, and contract modifications.
- Conduct market research and develop acquisition strategies for Federal procurements.
- Prepare and review acquisition documentation, including acquisition plans, RFPs, source selection plans, and justification documents.
- Support source selection activities, proposal evaluations, and contractor past performance assessments.
- Perform price and cost analyses and coordinate technical and financial reviews.
- Administer contracts and monitor contractor cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develop solicitation packages, statements of work, specifications, and contract line item structures.
- Apply FAR and agency regulations to ensure compliant procurement execution.
- Support complex acquisitions using a variety of contract types and procurement vehicles.
- Prepare business case analyses, reports, briefings, and procurement recommendations.
- Coordinate with Contracting Officers, program teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
- Negotiate, award, and administer procurement actions for goods and services.
- Prepare contractor consent packages, purchase orders, modifications, and procurement correspondence.
- Maintain procurement files, records, and databases to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Assist with procurement program implementation, process improvements, and training initiatives.
- Evaluate suppliers, analyze proposals, and recommend best-value award decisions.
- Research and implement procurement best practices, strategic sourcing methods, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Support special projects and other procurement-related activities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- U.S. Citizenship required with an active public trust clearance or higher.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related major.
- 6 - 8 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Federal Government procurement and acquisition activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FAR, agency acquisition regulations, source selection procedures, contract administration, and procurement lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting complex acquisitions, contract administration, market research, cost analysis, and procurement documentation development.
- Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- FAC-C level II certification required.
- NCMA CFCM (Certified Federal Contract Manager) certification preferred.
Anticipated salary range is $80,000 - $95,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education, training and certifications.
