What you'll do:
Lead procurement activities across the organization, including purchasing, competitive sourcing (RFQs/RFPs), vendor selection, and new product or service implementations. Manage supplier relationships through vendor onboarding, ongoing performance monitoring, contract support, and vendor risk identification. Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements while identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. Partner with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders to resolve purchasing issues, improve procurement workflows, and support system enhancements. Develop and maintain procurement reporting, KPIs, and analytics to drive informed business decisions and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives, compliance standards, process optimization, and organizational growth.
What we're looking for:
At least 2 years' experience with procurement, purchasing, or supply chain practices. Associates degree and/or procurement related work experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word Processing, and database applications. Service oriented, with the ability to communicate respectfully, compassionately, and effectively. Ability to learn quickly with little supervision. Preferred, but not required: Facilities and/or MRO (Maintenance Repair, and Operations) experience.
