Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will drive strategic sourcing initiatives by conducting supplier market research, evaluating qualified suppliers, and supporting compliant FAR 15 subcontract activities.

Rate Range: $35/Hour to $37/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Procurement Specialist Responsibilities include:

• Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier capabilities to identify the most qualified sourcing partners.

• Execute FAR 15 subcontract activities while ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company procurement requirements.

• Manage solicitation packages and maintain required documentation, including drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchasing data.

• Support subcontract negotiations related to pricing, terms and conditions, and overall supplier agreements.

• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support program objectives and drive overall value.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure procurement compliance, supplier performance, and successful program execution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, Contracts, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience with FAR/DFARS regulations and DoD subcontracting processes, including FAR 15 procurement activities.

• Proven ability to negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and manage supplier relationships within regulated industries such as Aerospace or Defense.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
